Exactly what I said to the answering machine is a great definition of Helena. I was there on the weekend of Memorial Weekend and water pipes is sufficient for B / C PPL has been made and was not full at all. Like most people there told me, really popular in July and October for the Oktoberfest, which actually begins in September now. I want to avoid this time of year, but if you go to a different time not so busy too. It is small and picturesque, as others have said, the NCM are beautiful and so quiet. You can control how much money you spend on each tourist. If the budget for gas and lodging / food to pass what they do. I bought a few small souvenirs, and not spend much. I have loved for a quick escape, and after two or three days, they have seen enough and done at home without having to go for a week.
I would recommend going to someone who was not there (was not).

And the answer is another law, which is a bit like Gatlinburg.

It is a very sweet town, which has its theme as an Alpine village with its houses and shops. There are boutiques, shops and restaurants and is pleasant to stroll and shop and eat. Nature, but the area around Helen is really nice and peaceful, with the Appalachian mountains and forests, streams and roads. I think it's worth it, but it is the only city in the mountains is very pleasant and interesting. You can find some interesting shops mountain road with crafts, produce, boiled peanuts, and some restaurants are not at home franchises. The roads are curved and hilly and fun to drive, and there are several waterfalls and lakes and camping close to good. I grew up in Atlanta and has always liked to go into the mountains, especially in the northeast Georgia.
